Description

The Brown Bag Sabbatical is an invitation from the Shoemaker Center for Church Renewal to bring your own project to Gordon-Conwell and join pastors from around New England and beyond for your own week-long study leave. With a little help from us, you can enjoy the beauty of the Gordon-Conwell campus and take advantage of its resources. The Brown Bag Sabbatical offers a full plate of opportunity at a "brown bag" price.

The Brown Bag Sabbatical is run concurrently with the Doctor of Ministry Writing Workshop. Some events will include the DMin Writing Workshop participants.

Program Highlights:

  • Five days and four nights at Gordon-Conwell and accomodations at TownPlace Suites, Danvers.
  • Lunch and roundtable discussions with Gordon-Conwell faculty
  • Full access to campus facilities (library, media center, etc.)
  • Times of corporate worship and prayer
  • Coffee and snacks provided throughout the day

Program Costs:

  • Early Registration (Before Dec 11) $475
  • Regular Registration (After Dec 11) $495
  • Program Only (no housing) $175
  • Spouse (with Reg Registration) $ 80

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Area hotels are about 20 minutes away from campus so you will need to rent a car or bring your own car to campus. There is plenty of parking available on campus; just follow the Event Parking signs.

What's the refund policy?

Partial refunds are available up to two weeks before the event. Contact the Shoemaker Center for details.

All our events are recorded (with speakers permission) and photographs may be taken for publicity purposes and promotion on social media.
